It's always nice to have a friend by your side.

In the midst of an ongoing and terrible storm, Maeve tries to find something to occupy her mind. Her house is empty, and the only noise to be heard is the unending drumbeat of rain against her roof. Boredom throttles her as she taps her fingers against her desk.

Not to worry. Her friends are always there for her. Her face lights up as she sees one in particular come online.

The atmosphere in this was great, and I really enjoyed all the little flourishes like the blurred text, the animated rainfall or the win98 styling of the UI. All of the horror elements are really mundane until the very end and it made simple things like the door being open hit very hard, and also really kept me wondering if Maeve was just being paranoid! The impression of getting an unexpected jab from your friends or feeling unsure about typing is felt very real. The payoff in form of the final CG and the last messages from Camilla hinting at the double meaning of the title also didn't disappoint

I loved playing this! The suspense had me lowering the game volume in fear! The art is beautiful, the writing is so evocative - I love how, even when being told how someone's tone sounded, I could still feel that tone in their text. Really an amazing game, great job!
